Job Summary**
Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of live chicks from PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's facilities to various destinations within the Baturiti area, ensuring animal welfare and timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities**
- Operate company vehicles (chick vans) in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
- Load and unload live chicks with care, following established protocols to minimize stress and injury to the animals.
- Monitor chick welfare during transport, ensuring proper ventilation, temperature, and humane conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, routes, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, farm personnel, and receiving staff.
- Adhere to biosecurity protocols and hygiene standards to prevent disease transmission.
- Assist with vehicle cleaning and basic maintenance as required.
Job Qualifications**
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license (SIM B2 Umum or relevant category) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably with experience in transporting live animals or perishable goods.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and loading.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, as needed.
- Understanding of animal welfare principles is a plus.
- Residing in or near the Baturiti area is highly preferred.
