Role Description The Chef De Partie at PT Corindo Amagi Putra is a full-time, on-site role based in Surabaya. The role involves managing a specific kitchen section, preparing and cooking menu items to company standards, and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation. The Chef De Partie will support menu execution, coordinate with other kitchen team members, and assist in training junior staff. Daily responsibilities include supervising food preparation, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating with the Head Chef on specials and improvements. The role also requires effective communication with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Food Preparation and Cooking abilities with proven Culinary Skills in a professional kitchen environment.
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and Hygiene standards, with the ability to enforce them in daily operations.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams and supporting a collaborative work environment.
- Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within restaurants, bakeries, or fine-dining establishments.
- Knowledge of pastry, bakery, or Asian/Thai cuisine is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently, and maintain attention to detail during busy service periods.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
- Culinary education or relevant certification is preferred but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
