As we expand our global footprint, we are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Channel Sales Engineer to drive our 0-1 growth in the smart lock sector. About the Role: We are looking for a proactive, hands-on local Channel Sales Engineer to help us establish and grow our presence within the Indonesia market. If you have a solid understanding of the local traditional lock, smart lock, or general hardware industries, we want to empower you to develop our channel network from the ground up. You will play a crucial, execution-focused role in driving our regional success.

Responsibilities:

  • Channel Development: Actively prospect, engage, and onboard regional distributors, wholesalers, and specialized retail partners into the Imou network within the hardware and door lock sectors.
  • Sales Execution: Implement localized sales tactics and action plans to consistently achieve revenue targets for our smart lock product lines.
  • Partner Support (Account Management): Build and maintain solid, trust-based relationships with channel partners. Assist them with daily support, product training, and sales enablement to ensure they are equipped to win.
  • Market Feedback: Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics. Provide timely, on-the-ground feedback to HQ to support product and marketing adjustments.
  • End-to-End Sales Process: Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach and negotiation to closing the deal and providing post-sales coordination.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work seamlessly with global marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product rollouts and promotional activities locally.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on channel/retail sales experience, with a solid grasp of sales channels in traditional mechanical locks, smart locks, smart home solutions, or building materials/hardware.
  • Local Network: Familiarity with the Indonesia market landscape. You possess existing contacts with local distributors, agents, or hardware channels, and have a proven ability to leverage these connections to introduce a high-quality global brand to create win-win opportunities.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills. You are a self-starter who thrives independently in a fast-paced, 0-1 environment, willing to roll up your sleeves and execute sales plans effectively.
