What You Will Experience
- Operate and monitor CFB boiler systems through DCS to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient steam generation.
- Optimize boiler combustion, air-fuel ratio, bed temperature, and operating parameters to maximize performance and efficiency.
- Monitor boiler performance and identify operational abnormalities, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring boiler and process issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns, planned shutdowns, and major outages.
- Monitor supporting systems, including water treatment and ash handling systems.
- Ensure compliance with process safety, environmental regulations, and plant operating procedures.
- Analyze operational data and recommend initiatives to improve boiler reliability, efficiency, and emissions performance.
- Support predictive maintenance and continuous improvement programs.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to boiler operators.
- Prepare operational reports, performance analyses, and technical documentation.
What is Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CFB boiler operation within coal-fired power plants, cogeneration plants, or other thermal power generation facilities.
- Strong knowledge of CFB boiler operation, combustion optimization, DCS operation, steam generation systems, and power plant operations.
- Experience in boiler performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Knowledge of water treatment systems, ash handling systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Familiar with predictive maintenance, planned shutdowns, and outage coordination.
- Good understanding of process safety management, environmental compliance, and power plant operating standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
