Job Description

Role Overview

The PMO is responsible for ensuring company-wide projects are executed in a structured, measurable, and timely manner by implementing project management frameworks such as Scrum and Six Sigma. This role focuses on coordination, monitoring, and project governance, and does not hold business or strategic decision-making authority.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Governance & Monitoring

  • Manage and monitor cross-functional project portfolios across the organization.
  • Ensure each project has clear timelines, milestones, deliverables, and accountability.
  • Track project progress and identify risks, delays, or operational bottlenecks.
  • Prepare regular project status reports and dashboards for management review.

2. Agile & Process Implementation

  • Support the implementation of Agile/Scrum methodologies in project execution.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies when required, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma or process optimization principles.

3. Coordination & Alignment

  • Act as a coordination point between cross-functional teams to maintain execution alignment.
  • Bridge communication between operational teams and management regarding project updates.
  • Ensure project priorities are executed according to leadership direction.

4. Documentation & Standardization

  • Develop and maintain standardized project documentation (timelines, risk logs, action trackers, etc.).
  • Create templates, SOPs, and workflows to improve execution efficiency.
  • Support post-project reviews and lessons learned documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, or Operations Excellence roles.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies; Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiar with project management tools (Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Notion, or similar).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong time management abilities.
