User Support and Training: Providing technical assistance to users of the CCTV system, guiding them through problem-solving steps, and offering training on system operation.
System Integration: Working with other IT and security teams to integrate CCTV systems with other security measures, such as access control and alarm systems.
Documentation: Maintaining records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and service logs.
System Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring the performance of CCTV systems and making adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video surveillance and security systems.
ISO standards: Aware and participating in several ISO standards, primarily ISO 27001 and ISO 27002, which focus on information security management. Additionally, ISO 20000-1 is relevant for IT service management. These standards emphasize the importance of awareness, training, and competence in maintaining information security and delivering quality IT services.
Requirements
Strong understanding of CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs, NVRs, networking, and related software, especially DSS Pro, DSS client for Dahua, FMS, or any other logistic system.
Able to diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV systems.
Able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
Able to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Able to provide excellent customer service and support.
Bachelor of Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Have experience in a supply chain role, either through internships or entry-level positions, is highly valuable.
Have certification from
CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or those specific to CCTV technology (e.g., from the Electronic Security Association).
