Overview:
To develop the most effective and efficient in-store marketing plan based on shopper and channel priorities to achieve business objective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define priority shopper segments and objectives for priority shopper segments
- Define strategies to achieve objectives in priority channels
- Define the ideal in-store marketing mix that must be achieved in each priority channel to achieve objectives for priority shopper segments in priority channels
- Develop plans for each priority channel to achieve shopper and channel objectives and implement in-store standards
- Allocate trade expenditure budgets by channel and in-store activity
- Support the process of developing business plans for key customers
- Provide appropriate information to the annual planning and the short term planning process and ensure planned trade marketing activity is aligned with brand objectives and constraints
- Brief the design of POSM materials to marketing
- Develop selling stories to support in-store initiatives
- Brief sales team on forthcoming activity
- Attending key selling meetings where specialist input will add value
- Evaluate company performance against the annual shopper and channel objectives
- Evaluate the effectiveness of new product introductions against agreed objectives
- Active Participation in IBP Meetings & Feeder Meetings (eg. MKT-TM Meeting, NPD Project Meetings)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or a similar role.
- A deep understanding of the industry, with proven experience in handling retail, online, or distributor channels.
- Solid understanding of trade marketing principles, channel dynamics, and consumer behavior.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Strong negotiation skills for managing distribution partnerships.
- Flexibility in adapting to fast-paced and rapidly changing environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
