Job Description

Responsibilities :

Trade Performance & Analytics

  • Maintain and update trade performance dashboards; track monthly ROI, promotion uplift, market share, and sell-through rates to highlight key trends and performance gaps for management.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews to identify what worked, what didn't, and recommend corrective actions for next cycles.
  • Support RGM (Revenue Growth Management) by monitoring competitor pricing, tracking promotional compliance, and identifying SKU gaps in the market.

Sales & Retail Enablement

  • Prepare data foundations and selling decks for Joint Business Planning (JBP) meetings to equip Sales teams for retailer negotiations.
  • Together with trade channel team build promotional guidelines and trade spend forecasts with precision to prevent budget leakage and ensure alignment with sales targets.
  • Serve as the primary daily contact for Sales teams—resolving stock issues, promotional execution problems, and in-store visibility challenges within 24–48 hours.

Channel Program Execution

  • Together with trade channel team manage the rollout of promotional campaigns and point-of-sale materials (POSM) across retail channels.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of POSM—from creative approval and production timelines to store-level deployment and compliance audits.

Field & Market Insights

  • Spend regular time in the market (weekly/bi-weekly store visits) to audit shelf strategy, competitive positioning, and promotional compliance.
  • Document shelf-level insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for Sales and management.

Job Qualifications :

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering, Business & Management, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of direct experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or Category Management.
  • FMCG, Beauty, or Retail industry experience is highly preferred (understanding of trade mechanics, retailer dynamics, and SKU management).

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic financial modeling, charting).
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets and PowerPoint for data presentation.
  • Proactive interest in learning BI tools like Tableau or Power BI (training provided).

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Strong priority : setting ability and capacity to work independently on day-to-day execution with minimal supervision.
  • Mental toughness and grit : ability to handle execution setbacks, aggressive competitor moves, and tight deadlines without losing focus.
  • Commercial empathy : skilled at aligning and collaborating with Sales Reps and external partners who don't report to you.
  • Field-first mindset : genuine willingness to spend time in stores auditing shelves, understanding consumer behavior, and translating insights to the team.
  • Precision and accountability : obsession with accuracy in promo calendars, spend tracking, and compliance metrics.
  • Problem-solver mentality : comfortable rolling up sleeves to solve issues (from POSM delays to stock-outs) rather than escalating immediately.
