POSITION INDRODUCTORY:
A Capsule Maker Technician operates, maintains, and troubleshoots capsule filling and packaging machinery to ensure efficient production of pharmaceutical or nutraceutical capsules that meet quality and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include setup, calibration, monitoring, and quality checks; maintaining machine hygiene and performing preventative maintenance; adhering to GMP and safety guidelines; and collaborating with quality control and maintenance teams. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to document processes accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate as Capsule Technician to support machine operation & setup, calibrate, and operate capsule filling and sealing machinery for the product with different recipe.
- Ensure & monitor machine performance, fill levels, and other critical parameters to ensure accurate and consistent capsule production.
- Ensure the implementation and completion of projects as compliance to scope of work, specifications and timing.
- Utilize tools and equipment productively, maintain in good condition and make available at any time for use.
- Execute all maintenance work based on the procedures and requirements of asset management.
- Performs the tasks of maintenance planning
- Perform and analyses maintenance work orders.
- Performs other tasks he is qualified to do and as assigned by his superiors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma in Industrial Engineering
- Min of 8-year experience as technician from any Manufacturing Capsule product or medical product
- Able to understand technical drawing and machine manual book
- Willing to take up cross function support
- Good experience in handling Capsule Maker machine Troubleshooting and maintenance
- Extensive experience in continues improvement activity / project
- Willingness to do any ad hoc assignments.
OTHERS:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on operational status.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
