PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Capability Specialist is to lead the technical capability development and journey within the Supply Chain department. This will be done primarily by leading the Supply Chain Academy to provide technical training (Core technical, Lean and Quality) and assessment programs and resources.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performance Management
- Ensuring that an effective management system applied for academy and capability development.
- Drive Supply Chain Academy for Core Technical, Lean and Quality (Associate/ Apprentice) in Mill
- Responsible for academy governance to ensure the academy output is consistent as targeted.
- Facilitate training and capability building sessions at Supply Chain/ Mill level.
- Supports the Supply Chain/Mill Optimization through strong analysis and lean methodology.
- Alignment of all business units (Mill, Safety, Customer Service & Logistics, Supply Planning) for academy and capability development
- Update Knowledge Board (K-Board) to visualized training progress in shopfloor.
- Develop periodic report for academy and capability progress.
- Support and hands-on iOPEX Cycle start-end process
People Management
- Develop training material and assist with training where required for academy roadmap and capability development.
- Provide standard assessment method for all certification levels.
- Coach and support people in key capability roles across the organization
- Manage training progress and certification data
- Manage Subject Matter Expert (SME) development and accreditation and ensure SME are engaged with the program.
- Drive Employee recognition program (ERP) in Mill
Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
- Take responsibility for providing and managing work environment safe and without risk to health by ensuring EHS policy, procedure, induction, training and work instruction are followed.
KEY QUALIFICATIONs and EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and/or Engineering or relevant discipline (e.g. Industrial Engineering).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement and/or operations management
- Understanding of people capability development process.
- Working knowledge of Operational Excellence and/or Reliability concepts and processes
- Six Sigma Green Certification and/or CI/Lean Experience is advantage.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both verbal and written).
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain management processes and functions
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, one-on-one and in groups
- Must be highly organized self-starter and proficient in use of PC/MS office suite (specifically in MS Excel and/or MS Access)
- Ability to link and articulate process change to multiple levels within the organization as well as customer groups.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Able to meet objectives with minimal direction from supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
