Explosion Safety Consultants: CAD Engineer
Location: Bandung or Jakarta, Indonesia

Contract: 1) Full time CAD Engineer
Reports to: General Manager
We seek motivated individuals to join our expanding consulting teams as CAD Engineer to support our team in generating 3D geometry, 2D drawing, and design in order to provide our clients with a range of services including consequence modelling & analysis (such as gas dispersion, fire, and explosion), qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, accident investigations, and plenty others.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have the following attributes:
- Minimum of Bachelor's (D4/S1) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering/Civil Engineering/Architecture.
- Have the ability to read and create 3D geometry and 2D Drawing using CAD software e.g. Microstation, OpenPlant, Naviswork, AutoCAD, FLACS-CFD as Gexcon's CFD tools and other similar software.
- Experience as a CAD Engineer or drafter is a plus.
- Experience using Gexcon's CFD tools FLACS-CFD is a plus.
- Both fresh graduates and candidates with experience are encouraged to apply.
- A good teamwork and interpersonal skills are vital.
- A good communication skills, written and spoken are important (preferably both Bahasa and English).
- Likewise, the ability and confidence to facilitate meetings with the Client is a key skill.
The role
In this role, you will support consequence modelling studies in our consulting business in Indonesia and the global consulting business as required.
- Generate 3D geometry using Gexcon's CFD tool.
- Converting 3D geometry from other format into Gexcon's CFD tool format that ready to use for simulation
- Generate 2D drawing of geometry, PID, PFD and drawing documents for process safety
- Providing guidance to the team and the clients to solve geometry issue
- Answering technical queries and assisting clients especially about geometry for modelling
- Modelling the consequence of accidents (using Gexcon's available tools)
- Simple Ventilation, Dispersion and Explosion Modelling using Gexcon's CFD tool, FLACS-CFD
- Help develop and maintain Gexcon's commercial relationship with clients
