Buyer - Natural Rubber

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Natural Rubber (NR) across Southeast Asia.
• Forecast raw material requirements through MRP, demand planning, and inventory analysis.
• Source NR at competitive prices while ensuring quality, timely delivery, and inventory availability.
• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop new suppliers; manage long-term supplier relationships.
• Monitor global and regional NR market trends, pricing, supply-demand, and commodity movements.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, purchase orders, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth import/export operations and on-time deliveries.
• Manage Letters of Credit (LC), freight, customs documentation, and vendor payments.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain for material approvals and procurement planning.
• Conduct supplier audits, quality evaluations, factory visits, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Optimize inventory levels to prevent stock-outs while minimizing working capital.
• Prepare procurement MIS reports, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and support digital procurement initiatives.
