Job Description

The Head of Business Unit is responsible for leading and managing the overall performance of a specific business unit, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives, profitability targets, and operational excellences.

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute business unit strategies to achieve revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability targets
  • Oversee end to end operations of the business unit, including Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Project Execution
  • Drive business performance by monitoring KPIs, financial results, and operational efficiency
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives
  • Ensure effective planning, budgeting, and cost control within the business unit
  • Lead cross-functional teams and ensure strong collaboration across departments
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and external partners
  • Ensure all business activities comply with company policies, regulations, and industry standards
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine business strategies
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team within the business unit
  • Report business performance and strategic insights to top management

Requirements

  • At least a bachelor's degree in Any major
  • Minimum 10 – 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing a business unit or profit center, with a strong preference for experience in wholesale building materials manufacturing or waste management processing.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and strategic planning
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and improve profitability
  • Strong leadership, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and result-oriented mindset
