Scope:
This role supports the organization in delivering high‑quality business performance insights, executive reporting, and market intelligence. The role focuses on transforming data into clear, structured narratives and decision‑ready materials for management and ExCo, while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong storytelling. This position acts as a bridge between data, analysis, and leadership communication, enabling timely understanding of business performance, trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Executive Reporting & Materials Development: Support the development of high-quality materials for management, ExCo, and leadership forums by ensuring reports are clear, accurate, visually well-structured, and aligned with key business messages. Translate complex performance data into concise and impactful presentation decks and narratives while maintaining consistency of messaging across all reporting outputs.
- Business Performance Analysis: Conduct initial analysis of business performance by identifying key trends and patterns, gaps versus plan or targets, and the main drivers of performance such as growth, decline, and risks. Support the preparation of performance commentary, highlight key insights for stakeholders, and contribute to performance tracking and monitoring across business units.
- Data Processing & Structuring: Process raw data from multiple sources into structured, accurate, and reliable datasets using Excel by cleaning, validating, and reconciling data to ensure consistency and integrity. Organize datasets effectively to support efficient reporting and enable future analysis.
- Insight Generation & Storylining: Translate data and analysis into meaningful business insights and actionable messages, while supporting the development of clear storytelling that highlights performance implications for senior stakeholders. Ensure all insights are aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Market Intelligence & Research: Conduct structured desk research on market developments, competitor performance, and industry trends, and summarize findings into clear insights to support strategic decision-making and reporting. Contribute to the development of market updates and benchmarking materials.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams including Finance, Strategy, and business units to gather and validate inputs, ensuring timely alignment of data, assumptions, and reporting outputs. Support the iterative refinement of materials based on stakeholder feedback.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- Certification or formal training in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, performance reporting, or strategy/analytics/consulting roles.
- Proven experience in preparing executive-level presentations and management reports.
- Prior exposure to financial services or a data-driven organization is a plus.
- Strong understanding of business performance metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning, structuring, and basic analysis.
- Ability to develop clear and compelling storytelling using PowerPoint for executive communication.
- Basic knowledge of market research and competitive analysis.
- Good understanding of how data supports strategic decision-making.
