Job Description

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager, you will directly report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Job Scope of this position:

  • Develop and execute the organization's BI strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for BI solutions.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement BI tools and technologies that align with business needs.
  • Lead the creation of interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
  • Execute in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insight.
  • Translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights.
  • Ensure data models are scalable, efficient, and meet the organization's analytical needs.
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for creating metrics and measurement tools that guarantee the effectiveness of tracking brand health checks, awareness, outreach, digital marketing impact, and other pivotal performance benchmarks.
  • Take an active role in developing a competitor intelligence dashboard, purpose-built to furnish decision-makers with invaluable insights into the actions of competitors.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of BI solutions.

The Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or other relevant fields.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields. Preferred experience in both fast-paced start-up environments and established consumer research companies
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. Strong understanding of data warehousing and database technologies like SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling. Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data analysis. Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable business strategies. Deep understanding of business operations, customer behaviors, and cultural trends. Skilled at forming data-driven opinions and observing insights from information.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data findings clearly and understandably to non-technical stakeholders. Excel in cross-functional collaboration
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership qualities to manage and motivate a team of analysts and data professionals. Ability to set departmental goals, manage projects, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in identifying and addressing business challenges through data analysis and reporting.
