Business Intelligence Analyst who is a Tech Whiz, has that curious and analytical mindset, eager to dig deeper to uncover the why behind the numbers in data. The ideal candidates should be able to articulate their ideas or point of view clearly, solution-oriented, and continuous improvement focus.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and data warehouses.
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems, dashboards, and reports to aid in data analysis and decision-making.
- Create and present reports, visualizations, and dashboards to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data to assist in identifying business opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability through regular data quality assessments and cleansing activities.
- Identify and address data inconsistencies and anomalies.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and data mining to answer business questions and solve problems.
Requirement & Qualifications:
- Open to fresh graduates, with preference given to candidates possessing relevant experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
- Demonstrable skills in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- A strong ability to think critically, identify problems, analyze complex data sets, and translate them into actionable business insights.
- A solid understanding of fundamental business processes and the ability to apply this knowledge to data analysis.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A natural curiosity and a desire to ask tough questions to uncover the why behind the data.
- The ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A commitment to accuracy and a meticulous approach to data analysis and reporting.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Has experience with data visualization tools, e.g. Table, Power BI, Lookr, Zoho, to build intuitive dashboards.
