Develop and grow Travel Agency business portfolio for MIGI by acquiring new travel agent partners and strengthening relationships with existing partners.
Conduct market benchmarking on travel insurance products, pricing, coverage, customer journey, and service offerings to ensure competitiveness in the market.
Monitor travel industry trends, business models, customer behavior, and competitor movements, and provide regular updates and recommendations to management.
Identify business opportunities and drive strategic initiatives to increase production and profitability of Travel Insurance business.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Operations, Claims, IT, Compliance, Finance, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation and operational excellence.
Coordinate and support product development, system integration, and process enhancement initiatives related to Travel Insurance business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within travel agency ecosystem, including management level, operational/frontline teams, and system providers.
Ensure MIGI's Travel Insurance products and services remain competitive, relevant, and aligned with market needs.
Prepare regular business performance reports, pipeline updates, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations for management review.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Travel Agency business, Travel Insurance, or related ecosystem.
Strong understanding of Travel Insurance products, travel industry dynamics, distribution channels, and operational processes.
Well-connected with key stakeholders within travel agency ecosystem, including middle management, frontline teams, and relevant business partners.
Strong business development and hunting capability with proven track record in acquiring and growing business partnerships.
Familiar with travel agency systems, operational flow, and market practices.
Strong analytical and market benchmarking skills, including pricing and product comparison.
Good networking, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, commercially driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Up-to-date with latest trends and developments within travel and travel insurance industry.
