Business Development Support (Collection)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Development Support (Collection) to join our dynamic team. This role plays a key part in supporting business development activities through accurate billing, invoice analysis, and effective collection processes to ensure healthy cash flow and strong relationships with charterers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the accounts receivable database accurately and consistently
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on invoices to ensure timely collection
• Review and analyze invoice soft copies prior to issuance to ensure accuracy
• Send invoice soft copies to charterers and follow up on payment status
• File and maintain billing documentation, including invoices, tax invoices, debit notes, and payment records
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
• Support business development and finance teams with collection-related reporting and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in billing, collection, or finance-related roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and organizational skills
• Proactive, fast learner, and able to work independently
• Familiarity with business processes in the shipping industry is an advantage
• Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Placement: Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta
