Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in renewable energy and related sectors, including hydropower projects, electrical supply, and equipment trading. Daily activities include conducting market research, generating leads, and building relationships with prospective and existing clients. The role involves preparing proposals, coordinating sales presentations, and collaborating with technical and operations teams to align solutions with client needs. The specialist also tracks business performance, maintains accurate records in CRM or sales systems, and supports continuous improvement of business development strategies.

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in energy, engineering, or industrial sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic sales reporting; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and good written and spoken English are advantageous.
