Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and acquire new clients (brands, principals, and sellers).
  • Conduct pitching sessions and present e-commerce enabler solutions tailored to clients business needs.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate with internal stakeholders through the contract signing process.
  • Manage and oversee the onboarding process for new clients in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
  • Maintain and develop strong business relationships with existing clients.
  • Monitor client performance regularly and provide business development insights and recommendations.
  • Foster and maintain effective working relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and submit regular business activity and performance reports to the General Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnership roles, preferably within the e-commerce, digital agency, marketplace, or technology startup industries.
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and digital business landscape (social commerce, digital marketing, e-commerce operations)
  • Proven ability to conduct prospecting, pitching, and business negotiations professionally.
  • Experience in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and business presentations.
  • Understanding of client onboarding processes and cross-functional coordination.
  • Proficient in managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting using tools such as Excel, CRM platforms, or similar systems.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify solutions quickly when facing administrative or technical challenges.
  • Target-driven, results-oriented, and solution-focused.
  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative and accountability.
  • Adaptable to change and capable of thriving in the dynamic e-commerce industry environment.
