The company provides specialised medical solutions for hospital and critical-care environments, with a strong presence across various clinical and procedural areas. This position will play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening distributor performance, expanding hospital accounts, and developing strategic relationships with key healthcare stakeholders across Indonesia.
Job Description
- Drive sales and profitability initiatives to achieve assigned business targets and revenue objectives.
- Manage and develop distributor performance, including sales forecasting, inventory monitoring, reporting, and field execution.
- Identify new business opportunities across existing and potential products, customers, and market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, distributors, senior stakeholders, and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) through direct market engagement.
- Work closely with distributors to manage hospital contracts, projects, tenders, and customer development activities.
- Monitor E-Catalogue listings, product registration, tenders, pricing, and relevant healthcare market developments.
- Collaborate with regional, sales, and marketing teams to develop strategic and tactical commercial plans.
- Conduct market, competitor, product, and customer analyses to identify gaps and growth opportunities.
- Support new product launches, market development strategies, and business transformation projects.
- Manage sales forecasts, operational expenses, budgets, and demand planning.
- Provide regular market insights and business recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience in the medical device industry, including distributor sales management.
- Proven experience in leading a business unit, commercial function, sales team, or distributor network.
- Strong understanding of the medical device selling process and distributor business model.
- Experience developing and executing market development strategies and tactical marketing plans.
- Strong experience in KOL management, hospital engagement, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Good knowledge of medical device product registration and E-Catalogue processes.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical, Nursing, Health Sciences, Business Management, or a related field.
- Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of budgeting, sales forecasting, demand planning, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Results-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Willing to travel as required.
