Business Development Manager Indonesia
medtechrec is partnered with a global orthopaedic medical device manufacturer to appoint a Business Development Manager in Indonesia. This role is responsible for leading market-expansion initiatives, developing distributor partnerships, and strengthening surgeon adoption across key orthopaedic and sports-medicine product lines. The position requires a commercially driven professional who can combine strategic planning with hands-on market execution and relationship management.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing commercial and market-growth strategies.
- Identifying, appointing, and managing distributor partners across Indonesia.
- Building strong relationships with surgeons, hospital stakeholders, and procurement teams.
- Leading pricing strategy, tender management, and contract negotiations.
- Monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and reimbursement conditions.
- Supporting training workshops, clinical education programs, and product launches.
- Delivering accurate sales forecasting and market-performance reporting.
Candidate profile:
- Commercial experience in the Indonesian medical device market (orthopaedics preferred).
- Strong distributor-management and channel-development experience.
- Ability to work autonomously within a regional or international structure.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
