Business Development Manager / Senior Business Development Manager, Surabaya

Based in Surabaya, Indonesia, the (Senior) Business Development Manager will be working as part of the team at Enterprise Singapore's Surabaya and Jakarta Overseas Centre. You will engage key Indonesian corporate stakeholders and Singaporean businesses from various sectors. The goal is to assist Singapore-based companies expand their businesses through facilitating their growth plans and forging strong relationships with stakeholders in Indonesia.

The role and responsibilities include:

• Facilitate Singapore-based businesses in their growth plans and business needs in Indonesia
• Establish good understanding of business/industry trends in Indonesia and identify opportunities for Singapore businesses
• Monitor the business environment (such as regulations) to provide market intelligence and strategies that will help shape project facilitation
• Build and cultivate strategic contacts with key stakeholders in Indonesia
• Track and report progress of various project facilitation

Desired Skills and Experience

• Recognised good degree in business, marketing or related field
• Market knowledge and proven track record in business development roles, minimally 2 years of experience
• Proactive individual who derives motivation and energy from meeting new people, understanding new business models and providing actionable solutions
• Ability to work independently and actively monitor the business environment (such as regulations) and provide market intelligence
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to collaborate with global teams
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia is a pre-requisite
