Business Development Manager

Rocketindo is one of Indonesia's fastest-growing beauty companies, with 20+ skincare, haircare, mom & baby, and lifestyle brands sold across e-commerce, social media, offline store, and global markets. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help us grow the company through new partnerships, business opportunities, and expansion initiatives.
As a Business Development Manager, you will identify strategic opportunities that can help Rocketindo grow faster — from new channels, partnerships, and collaborations to new markets and business models. You will work closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, Brand, Finance, and Management teams to turn ideas into real business results.
What You'll Do
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that can drive growth for Rocketindo and its brands
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, distributors, agencies, platforms, and other external parties
- Explore new channels and opportunities for Rocketindo, including offline retail, modern trade, international markets, B2B, and partnership programs
- Research market trends, competitors, customer behavior, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities
- Develop business proposals, pitch decks, presentations, and partnership plans for management and external parties
- Lead discussions, negotiations, and partnership agreements with potential partners
- Work closely with internal teams such as Brand, Social Media, E-Commerce, Finance, Legal, and Operations to execute new projects and partnerships
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of each partnership, project, or business initiative, including sales, profitability, and long-term potential
- Support the expansion of Rocketindo's brands into new markets and countries
- Create strategic recommendations and present business opportunities directly to management
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communication, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership, Key Account, or a similar role
- Experience in beauty, skincare, FMCG, e-commerce, retail, or startup industries is highly preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and networking skills
- Strong business sense and ability to think strategically and commercially
- Able to build strong relationships and confidently communicate with external partners and management
- Analytical, proactive, ambitious, and results-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities
- Fluent in English is a must; Mandarin or other languages is a plus
- Able to travel when needed

- Experience handling partnerships with marketplaces, retail stores, agencies, distributors, or overseas partners
- Existing network in beauty, retail, e-commerce, or social media industry
