Now, we're looking for a Business Development Manager - Oncology to lead the charge in expanding our oncology footprint across Indonesia. Oncology is one of the most critical and fastest-evolving therapeutic areas in Indonesia. In this role, you will be the driving force behind how BD's life-changing oncology solutions reach clinicians, patients, and partners across the archipelago. You'll own the strategy, the relationships, and the results.
What You'll Do
Drive Business Growth
Develop and execute business plans to deliver revenue targets and unlock new market opportunities across Indonesia.
Identify, build, and nurture strategic distributor partnerships aligned with market and customer needs.
Decode Indonesia's healthcare policies, government priorities, and market access landscape to stay ahead of the curve.
Cultivate strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support business development and elevate clinical outcomes.
Build deep account intelligence - competitor activity, market share, decision-makers, revenue potential, and growth forecasts.
Manage commercial terms, contracts, pricing strategy, and ROI tracking in alignment with regional and global guidelines.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to shape compelling value propositions and business cases.
Partner cross-functionally to deliver tailored customer solutions through accurate forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
Deliver regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and pipeline health.
Lead Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to align BD's programs and value offerings with evolving customer needs.
Co-create stakeholder management plans with distributors and lead CMEs and product training to drive awareness and adoption.
What You Bring
Minimum 7 years experience working with distributors in the medical device industry.
Proven track record in the oncology segment - is a must.
Hands-on experience managing P&L, including reporting, data analysis, market intelligence, and business plan development.
Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence at all levels.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the credibility to engage KOLs and senior clinicians.
