Business Development Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage business development initiatives to support the company's growth objectives in the mining sector.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese investors, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Support and coordinate all operational activities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies for potential projects.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements.
• Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with clients, vendors, and business partners.
• Coordinate with operational, technical, finance, legal, and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and operational efficiency.
• Represent the company in meetings, conferences, government discussions, and industry events.
• Provide regular business performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, mining regulations, and government requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Business Development, Commercial, Operations, or Project Management within the Mining industry.
• Experience in Gold Mining operations is highly preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) and English.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, project development, and commercial management.
• Proven experience in managing relationships with Chinese companies, investors, contractors, or suppliers.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with mining regulations and permitting processes in Indonesia.
• Willing to travel frequently to mining sites and business locations.
