Job Description

Currently we are assisting an IT Solution company in Jakarta, which is looking for a position as Business Development for Cloud products, with the following details:

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in selling cloud products (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or similar) is mandatory.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud technology offerings, pricing models, and ecosystem, including compliance, data security, and cloud governance. Familiarity with DevOps, AI/ML on cloud platforms, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud migration is highly preferred.
  • Certifications & Partnerships: Existing relationships with cloud principals are highly valued. Relevant cloud sales certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud are considered a strong advantage.
  • Sales Performance: Proven track record of closing deals and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Account Management: Strong customer relationship and account management skills, including experience in post-sales support and renewal opportunities.
  • Personality & Work Style: Sales-driven, action-oriented, and results-focused with strong leadership qualities; able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and sell effectively to senior-level executives.
  • Language: Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is required. A strong technology or engineering background is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by selling cloud products and services to Enterprise, SME, and Government sectors.
  • Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, including cold-calling, canvassing, and direct client outreach.
  • Collaborate with cloud principals and partners to ensure solution alignment with customer requirements.
  • Work closely with technical teams to design customized solutions and proposals that effectively address client needs.
  • Develop and deliver compelling commercial and technical proposals that clearly communicate value and solve customer pain points.
  • Lead pricing discussions and conduct commercial negotiations to secure profitable agreements.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, prepare forecasts, and provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections to management.
  • Build and sustain strong professional relationships with clients to support long-term partnerships and business growth.
