Techno-Commercial Manager | Business Development | Oil & Gas Industry
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Techno-Commercial Professional with strong experience in the Oil & Gas industry to drive business growth, manage key client relationships, and support regional commercial operations across APAC territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face techno-commercial and sales meetings with prospective and existing clients across assigned territories.
- Receive RFQs, prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing, and follow up to secure business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective key account management from project initiation to final reporting.
- Identify new business opportunities in conventional and unconventional market segments.
- Respond promptly to technical and commercial customer enquiries with accurate proposals and solutions.
- Collaborate with regional teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure seamless project execution.
- Engage with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and stakeholders to expand business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing strategies, and service offerings.
- Support marketing initiatives through presentations, case studies, promotional materials, and social media content.
- Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and regional business planning activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and support issuance of parts and service quotations.
- Ensure all quotations are technically, commercially, and legally accurate with high professional standards.
- Maintain accurate records and updates in CMS, AMS, Phoenix, and other internal systems.
- Track sales pipeline, enquiries, quotations, orders, margins, and performance metrics.
- Support tender preparation, proposal strategies, and overall sales process optimization.
- Assist in promotional events, client visits, and strategic business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong background in technical sales and oilfield technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
