Job purpose

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and grow our automotive aftermarket business in Indonesia, with a focus on strategic channel development, distributor management, and new business acquisition.

This role will be instrumental in executing sales strategies, driving market penetration, and strengthening our presence in one of the region's most dynamic automotive markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals in Indonesia
  • Identify and grow new business opportunities in untapped segments and regions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and trade partners
  • Monitor and manage sales KPIs, pipeline, forecasts, and profitability
  • Ensure commercial alignment with brand and product group strategies
  • Collaborate closely with category, marketing, and supply chain teams to drive NTR initiatives
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and respond to competitive trends
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, credit, and commercial policies
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and contribute to cross-functional projects as needed.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience, with at least 7 years in the automotive aftermarket
  • Proven experience managing distributor networks and driving growth in the Indonesia market
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms)
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of additional Indo-China languages (i.e. Vietnamese, Khmer, Lao, Burmese) is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the country and occasionally within SEA
