Description

As a Business Development (M&A) Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Identifying potential merger and acquisition opportunities in the agriculture sector.
Conducting detailed market research and financial analysis to assess potential targets.
Developing and presenting business cases and acquisition strategies to stakeholders.
Overseeing due diligence processes and coordinating with relevant teams.
Negotiating deal terms and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborating with the accounting and finance team for accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Maintaining relationships with external advisors and stakeholders.
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of acquired entities post-integration.

Profile

A Successful Business Development M&A Manager Should Have

At least a Bachelor's degree in finance, or a related field. Master's degree and CFA certifications are highly preferred.
5-8 years of proven expertise in the M&A and investments space, with background in Big 4, Consulting, PE/VC, or investment banking, ideally with an agriculture sector focus.
Strong analytical skills for market research and financial evaluation.
Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities in English.
Experience collaborating with international cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
