  • New Business Opportunity Development:
  • Conduct research and analyze industry trends to support market penetration strategies.
  • Develop and execute plans to acquire new customers (corporate & retail).
  • Business Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term marketing and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and underwriting teams to create products that meet market needs.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of strategies and conduct evaluations to improve performance.
  • Strategic Relationship Management
  • Establishing relationships with brokers, business partners, industry associations, and potential clients.
  • Building strategic partnerships (partnerships or bundling programs) to expand distribution channels.
  • Internal Coordination
  • Collaborate with underwriting, product, finance, legal, and compliance teams to support the acquisition process.
  • Provide market insights and input for product and service development.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Compiling prospect reports, sales pipelines, and target achievements.
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of business programs and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Compliance & Regulation
  • Ensuring that all business development activities comply with OJK regulations and internal company policies.
  • Maintaining business ethics and confidentiality of company and partner information.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in insurance, especially in business development.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and the dynamics of the insurance market in Indonesia.
  • Communicative, with good networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, analytical, and highly target-oriented.
  • Professional certification or basic insurance knowledge is preferred.
