Business Development - Foreign Investment & Market Entry

We are currently partnering with a client to find a Business Development professional passionate about helping international companies establish and expand their presence in Indonesia. This role lets you work closely with global stakeholders and contribute to cross-border business growth.

In this position, you will lead efforts to engage and support foreign companies exploring opportunities in Indonesia. You will act as a trusted partner—helping clients navigate the local landscape while delivering tailored business and HR solutions to support their market entry and expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the end-to-end process of attracting and supporting foreign investors entering Indonesia.
• Identify and engage potential clients through strategic networking, global events, and partnerships.
• Provide insights on Indonesia's business environment, regulatory landscape, and workforce considerations.
• Understand client needs and develop tailored, consultative solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including chambers of commerce, embassies, and investment agencies.
• Manage the full business development cycle—from initial engagement to negotiation and deal closure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (a Master's degree is a plus).
• Around 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or similar roles—ideally within FDI, professional services, or international consulting.
• Proven experience working with international clients and managing complex, consultative sales cycles.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Comfortable leveraging technology and digital tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• A proactive and self-driven approach, with the ability to work independently.
