Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Junior Business Development Consultant, Lead/Project Engineer, or with multiple years selling Automation or Digital Solutions
- Achieves consistent success in obtaining the following:
- Supporting the development and securing of new accounts in their assigned markets or regions.
- Authors proposals and works on solutions with support from technical teams based on one or more solutions or applications.
- Possesses the general characteristics and business development & communication skills of a Business Development Consultant.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform the technical and managerial responsibilities of a Business Development Consultant.
General Characteristics
- Works well with division leaders in strategic pursuits and initiatives.
- Develops relationships with Consultants, Partners, EPC and End Users.
- Provides significant contribution in internal RoviSys initiatives (example: QMP, RAC, Digitalization, etc.).
Technical Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable in Digital Transformation, IoT, MES, OT Cybersecurity, Analytics, or applicable Industry leading solutions.
- Performs research and analyses markets and competitors to identify development opportunities.
- Independently investigates applicable products and services in the market.
- Provides consulting and advisory on Digital Transformation solutions.
- Develops proposals from user requirements or RFQ.
Business Development & Communication Skills
- Identifies market trends and customer needs, building short & long-term sales pipeline in accordance with business roadmaps & targets.
- Conducts sales pitches and presentations to key stakeholders at potential new clients.
- Leads engagement of customers with consultative and solution selling methodology with positive outcomes.
- Develops and secures new accounts in assigned markets and regions.
- Collaboration with multiple partners to drive and close opportunities in the region.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Independently leads junior team members in developing opportunities and guides them to achieve organizational objectives.
- Work to achieve Business Targets per annual Plans.
Direction Received
- Collaborates directly with Senior Consultants.
Receives guidance and direction from BD Manager or Business Development Director.
