Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and performance-driven
Business Development Associate to accelerate the adoption of solar energy solutions across residential and MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) segments. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial professional who views sales through a growth lenssomeone who can manage the full deal cycle while simultaneously developing market insights and high-value partnerships.
The ideal candidate thrives on building long-term customer value, spotting untapped market opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to scale Arysun's renewable energy footprint across Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new market segments (Residential & MSME) through consultative, solution-based selling.
- Deal Ownership: Manage the end-to-end business development cycle, from initial prospecting and lead qualification to high-stakes negotiation and closure.
- Relationship Management: Act as a strategic partner to customers, building trust-based relationships that ensure long-term loyalty and referrals.
- Strategic Reporting: Analyze sales performance metrics, track conversion data, and provide actionable insights to management to refine our growth strategy.
- Intelligence Gathering: Monitor competitor activity and market trends to provide feedback for product development and marketing refinements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Operations teams to optimize lead quality, refine sales collateral, and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Pipeline Integrity: Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and sales pipelines using CRM systems.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 35 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales (B2B/B2C)experience in renewable energy, FMCG, construction, or tech sectors is highly regarded.
Core Skills: Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to design and execute go-to-market strategies.
Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders both online and in person.
Mindset: Self-driven, target-oriented, and resilient; comfortable navigating the ambiguity of a fast-paced startup environment.
Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently in the field while remaining a collaborative, effective team player.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales platforms is an advantage.
