As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Sales team by delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations, particularly within the messaging solutions industry. This role involves working with scattered and unstructured data from multiple sources, analyzing business trends, customer behavior, product performance, and providing actionable insights that are easy for business stakeholders to understand.
This position requires someone who is resilient, highly proactive, has strong ownership, and is able to thrive under pressure with tight and dynamic deadlines driven by business and sales needs.
Key Responsibilitie
- Collect, clean, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
- Support Sales, Account Management, and Business teams with data analysis and business insights
- Provide strategic recommendations related to business performance, messaging traffic, customer behavior, pricing, product utilization, and market opportunities
- Assist the Sales team by preparing analytical data for client meetings, tenders, proposals, and business reviews
- Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that are clear and easy to understand for non-technical stakeholders
- Identify trends, anomalies, business opportunities, and potential risks through data analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Prepare both routine and ad-hoc reports within tight timelines
- Monitor business KPIs and sales performance regularly
- Deliver actionable recommendations to support sales strategies and business growth
- Independently explore and analyze scattered or unstructured data sources
- Support urgent analytical requests from management and business teams with fast turnaround times
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
- Strong experience handling large datasets from multiple sources
- Proficient in SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Experienced in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of business analysis, reporting, and data storytelling
- Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to translate technical findings into simple and actionable business insights
- High initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work under pressure, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both business and technical teams
- Experience in messaging solutions, telecommunications, SaaS, CPaaS, or technology industries is a plus
- Comfortable working with incomplete, scattered, or unstructured data and proactively finding solutions
