Job Description

We are seeking an internal Business Continuity Management professional withhands‑on, practical experience in delivering and operating Business Continuity and Crisis Management programmes. This role requires direct involvement in planning, facilitation, execution, and testing of BCM and IT Disaster Recovery activities.

The role will work closely with IT Services, functional leaders, and crisis management stakeholders to ensure BCM governance, readiness, and execution are effective and aligned with firm requirements. This is a high‑impact role with visibility across functions and senior stakeholders where you will have the opportunity to directly shape and strengthen firm‑wide resilience and preparedness.

What you will do:

1. Managing the BCM Governance Programme

  • Lead BCM project planning and stakeholder briefings.
  • Work directly with IT Services (ITS) to define, review, and validate recovery objectives and targets.
  • Actively facilitate the development, review, and update of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) with respective functions.
  • Ensure alignment across functional BCPs and maintain the Master BCP Document.

2. Managing the BCM Exercise Programme

  • Design and execute BCM exercise plans and testing strategies.
  • Facilitate Call Tree Testing and coordinate follow‑ups on outcomes.
  • Observe and document IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) testing for critical information systems.
  • Facilitate Crisis Management exercises and support post‑exercise reviews and improvements.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with demonstrated hands‑on experience in delivering BCM, IT Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management activities
  • Proven experience facilitating BCM workshops, simulations, and live testing exercises.
  • Strong understanding of BCM and Crisis Management standards and practical application.
  • Experience working closely with IT recovery teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
