Business Analytics Consultant

Project Overview

Our client is seeking a Jakarta-based Business Analytics Consultant to support data-driven decision-making and portfolio optimization initiatives for consumer banking clients.

The consultant will leverage business intelligence, descriptive analytics, segmentation, benchmarking, and performance tracking methodologies to generate actionable insights, support strategic initiatives, and drive business performance improvements.

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia (hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: 1 October 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data extraction, analysis, segmentation, benchmarking, and data modelling using client's datasets.
• Develop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to generate actionable business insights.
• Build and maintain database structures using analytics tools such as Python, SQL, R, or SAS.
• Perform portfolio analytics including customer segmentation, performance tracking, and predictive modelling.
• Support stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and coordination across client teams.
• Review analytics deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Support project governance, steering committee updates, and regular stakeholder reporting.
• Work closely with banking clients and independently drive analytics workstreams.

Ideal Profile:

• 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analytics.
• Strong hands-on capability with Python, SQL, R, SAS, and large-scale data analysis.
• Experience building, managing, and maintaining database structures.
• Consumer banking analytics experience, particularly debit and/or credit card portfolio optimisation.
• Strong understanding of segmentation methodologies, predictive modelling approaches, and model validation techniques.
• Experience in Banking & Financial Services, preferably within consumer banking.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker with strong English communication skills.
