The candidate for this position will be responsible for working with clients from pre-sales to implementation support for the implementation of our digital solutions related to Asset Performance Management, Alarm management, Operations productivity and Process stability.
About the Role
The candidate should have experience in developing and implementing process control solutions, optimising the use of historian data to provide meaningful insights to the operations and maintenance teams and should have deep knowledge of SQL, Historians, Python etc. The candidate would also be able to recommend improvements to the process through the tracking of metrics and reporting of data and should definitely have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our sales team to identify and engage potential clients, participate in pre-sales meetings, and contribute technical insights to client discussions.
- Create and deliver compelling product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our software solutions to potential clients.
- Collaborate with our business partner technical / engineering teams to design custom software solutions and integration plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and documentation to effectively communicate the technical aspects of our solutions to clients.
- Provide training and educational materials to clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our products and services.
- Work closely with clients to gather and document their technical requirements and translate them into actionable plans for our engineering team.
- Assist in the creation of technical proposals and quotes, ensuring they align with the client's needs and expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a business analyst / pre-sales engineering role, preferably in the industrial software or software integration industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial software solutions, industrial automation, operational technology, asset intelligence, alarm management, reliability theory and technology, and software integration principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to design effective software solutions.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, presentations and project implementation support.
Required Skills
Strong technical abilities in SQL, historians, python, and process control solutions.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the industrial software or software integration industry.
