We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Building Manager to oversee the operational performance of a premium commercial property on behalf of our client. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining asset value, delivering exceptional occupier experience, and acting as the key liaison between the client, tenants, and service providers.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and property operations expertise within a commercial real estate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to the client on all building management matters.
- Leading day-to-day building operations, including engineering, facilities, security, housekeeping, landscaping, and life safety systems.
- Ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual obligations, agreed KPIs, and client expectations.
- Managing and monitoring vendors, contractors, and service partners to maintain operational excellence.
- Preparing and managing operating budgets, forecasting expenditures, and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders to enhance occupier satisfaction and retention.
- Driving asset enhancement, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, environmental, and governance requirements.
- Monitoring operational and financial performance and providing strategic recommendations to the client.
- Leading and developing site teams to foster a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Property Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in building management, property management, facilities management, or commercial real estate operations.
- Minimum 3 years in a managerial role overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of building systems, service contracts, budgeting, and operational governance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
