About the Role!
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Budget Controller to lead the company's budgeting process, monitor financial performance, and provide insightful budget analysis to support strategic business decisions. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective budget planning, forecasting, and financial control.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate budget preparation across all departments
- Prepare periodic budget forecasts and rolling forecasts
- Monitor budget utilization and ensure spending is in line with approved budgets
- perform budget variance analysis and identify key drivers of deviations
- Review and evaluate budget requests from business units
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure consistency between budget, actual results, and financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from reputable university.
- 3-4 years of experience in Budget Control, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting, or Management Accounting.
- Experience in external auditing at a consulting firm is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP Odoo is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
