Broadcast Officer (Freelance 6 Months)

Responsibilities:

1. Understanding of live broadcast workflows, including video, audio, and streaming systems.
2. Familiarity with broadcast equipment like cameras, switchers, encoders, and audio mixers.
3. Knowledge of streaming platforms (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live) and video codecs.
4. Familiarity with production software like OBS Studio, vMix, Wirecast, or similar tools.
5. Knowledge of post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects) is a plus.
6. Adaptability to handle last-minute changes or technical challenges.
7. Teamwork and coordination are required to ensure the smooth execution of broadcasts.

Qualifications:

1. Test live streams and equipment to ensure everything is functioning properly.
2. Organize video assets, graphics, and overlays for use during broadcasts.
3. Ensure all branding and assets meet the client's or project standards.
4. Handle transitions, overlays, graphics, and live chats as needed.
5. Respond quickly to any technical issues, minimizing disruptions to the broadcast.
6. Operate broadcast equipment, including switchers and encoders, during live events.
7. Monitor audio and video quality throughout the broadcast to ensure seamless output.
