About The Role

We are looking for a Brand Strategist (Brand Storytelling & Content Lead) to own brand narrative, storytelling, and content strategy across all Captain Fauna brands. This role is strategic, not administrative. You will define what we say, how we say it, and why it matters, turning brand stories into content that creates attention, trust, and buying intent. Also being able to create simple content and basic visuals when needed in a lean environment.

What You'll Do

Brand Storytelling

  • Own brand narrative and storytelling for all Captain Fauna brands
  • Translate brand positioning into relatable stories for Indonesian pet parents
  • Ensure consistent tone of voice and StoryBrand-style messaging (customer as hero, brand as guide)

Content Strategy

  • Develop content strategy and monthly content calendar
  • Define content themes, hooks, angles, and CTAs for Instagram & TikTok
  • Continuously improve storytelling based on content performance

Content Direction & Creation

  • Copywriting
  • Hooks
  • Short-form video scripts (Reels & TikTok)
  • Captions and CTAs
  • Create clear creative briefs for the Creative Lead (execution team)
  • Create simple content independently when needed (IG Post, Stories,

Creator, UGC & Affiliate

  • Manage nanomicro creators, affiliates, and UGC sourcing
  • Curate and reuse UGC that fits brand storytelling
  • Decide what creator content gets amplified and why

Collaboration

  • Creative Lead (execution & visuals)
  • Customer Care team (customer insights, objections, pain points)
  • Align content with business goals, not vanity metrics

KPI

  • Weekly reach & engagement trend across brands
  • Contribution of top 20% content to total engagement
  • On-time delivery of monthly content calendar
  • Number of active creators / UGC assets used
  • Content-assisted leads or sales (qualitative & tracked)

Who We're Looking For

  • Strong storyteller and copywriter
  • Comfortable creating simple content & basic visuals in a lean setup
  • Understands Instagram & TikTok content behavior
  • Strategic thinker who can still execute when needed
  • Believes content should drive real business impact, not just views
  • Experience in pet, FMCG, lifestyle, or DTC brands is a plus but mindset matters more than industry.
