About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and creative Brand Manager to further the growth and enhance the brand equity of Tentang Anak Intellectual Property product consist of education books, toys, music and animation. This role combines strategic planning, product development, and creative execution to deliver strategies and initiatives for products that inspire, educate, and engage our audience. You will work collaboratively across teams to build a strong brand presence, ensuring this brand aligns with Tentang Anak's mission to empower children and families through innovative and meaningful products.
Job Responsibilities
- P&L Ownership: Lead commercial strategy and ensure revenue and profit targets are met.
- Brand Development: Define positioning, storytelling, and identity across books, toys, animation, and music.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Oversee product launches, campaigns, and distribution channels in Indonesia.
- Execution & Operations: Act as a hands-on operator in the early phase managing production partners, vendors, and campaigns.
- Market Insights: Analyze consumer behavior, competitor landscape, and industry trends to inform strategy.
- Partnerships: Manage relationships with publishers, creative studios, distributors, and potential licensors.
- Strategic Reporting: Present business updates, financial performance, and growth strategies to senior leadership and CEO.
Requirements
Experience
- 610 years of experience in brand management within FMCG, publishing, entertainment, or consumer products.
- Proven track record of owning or heavily influencing P&L.
- Experience in launching and scaling brands in Indonesia.
Capabilities
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen (financial literacy, P&L management).
- Brand storytelling expertise; ability to shape characters, content, and products into a cohesive brand.
- Hands-on operator who thrives in a startup/scale-up environment.
- Strong partner management and negotiation skills.
