Role Overview
The Brand Communication & Content Intern will support the Brand Communication & Content team in
preparing social media content ideas, copy, and content references in collaboration with internal
teams and external agencies.
This role will focus on assisting the team in translating brand messages, campaign themes, product
information, and social media trends into simple, relevant, and engaging content directions. The
intern is not expected to lead content production, but will help provide ideas, references, copy
support, and coordination support for social media content needs.
Basic skills in smartphone content creation, photography, videography, or editing will be considered
a plus, but are not the main requirement for this role.
Scope of Work
- Social Media Content Support
- Support the team in preparing social media content ideas based on brand objectives, campaigns,
products, promotions, and current trends.
- Assist in exploring relevant social media formats, trends, memes, cultural moments, and audience
behaviors.
- Help translate briefs or business objectives into simple content angles that are easy for audiences
to understand.
- Content Planning Support
- Assist the team in preparing social media content plans and content calendars.
- Help prepare simple content briefs that may include:
- Content objective
- Key message
- Content idea or angle
- Suggested format
- Copy direction
- Reference or inspiration
- CTA when applicable
- Copywriting Support
- Support copywriting needs for social media formats such as:
- Instagram Feed / Carousel
- Instagram Reels
- TikTok
- Content Production Support
Content production is not the main responsibility of this role. However, the intern may occasionally
support simple or spontaneous content production when needed.
Examples include:
- Helping capture simple content using a smartphone.
- Supporting behind-the-scenes or event content.
- Recording simple short-form videos.
- Assisting with basic edits for quick or reactive social media content.
Requirements
- University student or fresh graduate, preferably from Communication, Marketing, Advertising,
Public Relations, Creative Industry, or other relevant fields.
- Strong interest in social media, content, branding, and digital culture.
- Able to share content ideas based on a brief or business objective.
- Has basic copywriting skills, especially for social media.
- Comfortable communicating ideas through simple written briefs or presentations.
- Familiar with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and other emerging social
platforms.
- Willing to WFO at Jakarta
Nice to Have
- Able to shoot simple social media content using a smartphone or camera.
- Basic understanding of photography and videography.
- Basic video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere, or similar applications.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other creative tools.
- Experience managing personal, organizational, community, or brand social media accounts.
- Portfolio or examples of social media content, copywriting, scripts, campaigns, or creative
projects.
