Job Description

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for technology Skyshi is looking for a creative and energetic Brand & Tech Community Specialist to join our team in Yogyakarta. Your mission is to position Skyshi as the top-of-mind workplace for digital talent. You will be the creative brain behind our social media presence and community events, designed to attract high-quality candidates, especially in the field of AI and Software Development.

  • Experience: 0 - 2 years (Junior / Entry Level)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3x per week at Skyshi Office, Yogyakarta)

Key Responsibilities

  • Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with IT industry trends, especially AI, and translate insights into engaging content and campaign ideas.
  • Creative Briefing: Create clear creative briefs for designers, video editors, and interns to ensure high-quality and consistent visual execution.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute tech-focused events such as webinars, meetups, and workshops, including theme development, speaker outreach, and coordination with external partners and communities.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with tech communities, universities, and audiences to strengthen employer branding and talent pipelines.
  • Brand Activation: Develop employer branding campaigns that showcase Skyshi's culture and technical expertise while monitoring content, social media, and event performance to generate insights for future improvements.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Management, Information Systems, or any related field.
  • Tech Enthusiast: You don't need to code, but you must be curious about IT and follow the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) developments.
  • Creative Storyteller: Ability to turn technical or boring topics into engaging content and themes.
  • People Person: Comfortable networking and collaborating with external partners or speakers.
  • Organized & Proactive: Able to manage multiple tasks (from social media schedules to event timelines) independently.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in campus organizations or community management.
  • Basic copywriting skills with a fun, non-corporate tone.
  • A portfolio showing previous social media projects or events you've handled.
