We are hiring: Brand Acquisition Manager/Buyer

We are seeking a Brand Acquisition Manager/Brand Buyer to lead Baskit's growth in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) category and expand our portfolio of strategic brand partnerships.

This role sits at the intersection of business development, category leadership, and execution excellence - driving the acquisition, onboarding, and growth of both emerging and established brands.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, data-driven, and commercially sharp, with a proven track record of converting relationships into measurable business results.

Depending on experience, the role may be appointed at the Manager or Senior Manager level.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and customers through regular communication across FMCG industry to ensure smooth and consistent transactions.
  • Acquire new brands by conducting due diligence (assessing business reputation, history, and capability to ensure alignment with Baskit's operational standards).
  • Drive new revenue from existing and new brands and support them to increase volume month by month.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance for each brand, including results, consistency, market, etc.
  • Achieve monthly targets by driving revenue, acquiring multiple brands, and maximizing brand penetration.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (brand, commercial, finance, etc.) to ensure smooth target fulfillment, monitor achievement status, and share actionable insights on performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5–6 years of experience in FMCG, brand management, or operations.
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Good understanding of FMCG and brands.
  • Willing to travel frequently across clients and customers.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in basic reporting using Google Sheets/Excel and comfortable using mobile-based tools or apps for regular reporting.
  • Good understanding of distribution in GT & MT.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; proficient in professional English.
