Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing BNPL Growth & Operations Manager/Senior Manager who will drive business growth across South East Asia markets such as Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This role leads end-to-end development and execution of growth initiatives such as campaign promotions, 0% interest programs, credit boost incentives, and new feature deployments that can offer organic growth and to deliver scalable GMV uplift, conversion improvement, and healthier credit performance.
You will partner closely with Product, Risk, Finance, Marketing, BI/Data, and Country GMs to identify opportunities, execute experiments, optimize cost efficiency (CIR), and accelerate BNPL adoption.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth Strategy & Planning (Regional)
Develop and own the BNPL growth roadmap for PH, TH, ID, and MY.
Identify high-impact levers: product features, and payment UX improvements. Build quarterly OKRs with BI, forecast GMV, and manage budget allocation for all markets by working closely with platform commercial teams.
2. Campaign & Promotion Management
Lead planning and execution of BNPL campaigns, including:
0% interest programs
Instant discount promotions
Cashback and voucher-based incentives
Cross-market big campaigns (11.11, 12.12, Ramadan, Payday, etc.)
Coordinate with marketing and category teams to maximize reach and conversion.
Measure campaign effectiveness, incremental GMV, CIR, take-up rate, and optimize based on learnings.
3. BNPL Product Innovation & New Feature Rollout
Work with Product & Tech teams to design and implement:
New BNPL features that can create GMV uplift
A/B tests for interest waiver, extended tenor, new approval logic, payment reminders, etc.
Translate business needs into clear PRDs/BRDs and ensure timely delivery.
4. Data Analysis & Business Insights
Dive deep into user behavior, funnel performance, and credit health.
Analyze GMV, AOV, ARPU, CIR, activation rate, and repeat rate to uncover growth opportunities.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Align with Credit/Risk teams on underwriting changes and CIR optimization.
Work with Finance on budget control, ROI modeling, and subsidy efficiency.
Partner with Country GMs and Category teams for localized strategies.
6. Operational Excellence
Define SOPs for campaign execution, feature rollout, and post-mortem analysis.
Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., BNPL guidelines in PH, TH, ID, MY).
Solve operational issues quickly, escalate risks, and maintain high service quality.
Job description
Qualifications & Requirements
5+ years of experience in fintech, tech company, e-commerce, or digital banking.
Strong understanding of retail loans / BNPL, consumer credit, payments, or financial products.
Proven experience in campaign management, growth operations, or product operations.
Exceptional analytical skills; comfortable with basic SQL, dashboards, and experimentation.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Experience launching features in multi-market environments is a plus.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication skills (English required; Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory).
