Job Description

This is a temporary position for a fixed term of 6 months. Employment under this role is intended to support a specific business need/project and is not a permanent position. The contract duration is limited to 6 months from the start date and may end upon completion of the assignment, subject to company policies and business requirements.

Objective of The Role

Lead the end-to-end Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) and Strategic Planning agenda for B&W Indonesia to ensure sustainable business growth, operational excellence, supply resilience, and value creation. The role is accountable for managing third-party manufacturing partners, developing long-term manufacturing strategies, optimizing supply network capabilities, driving business performance, ensuring SHE excellence, and connecting local operations with BW Global manufacturing and supply chain strategies.

The role acts as a key link between Local Business Unit, Regional/Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing Partners, and Cross-Functional Teams to deliver superior customer service, cost competitiveness, innovation readiness, and sustainable growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead governance and performance management of collaborative manufacturing partners (CM).
  • Ensure CM partners consistently meet agreed targets in: Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability
  • Lead CM capability enhancement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Unilever and local manufacturing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the OTIF delivery of global and local-led innovation projects produced at the CM sites.
  • Business unit supply chain representative for B&W Indonesia Global-led innovation projects.
  • Responsible in ensuring Global-led innovation projects network tasks are on track to enable launch timing at market on-time in full. Plan and execute the projects within cost, scope, time and performance parameters.
  • Leads the medium (RCDSR) to long-term (LTCP) capacity planning for Zara inhouse factory and B&W Indonesia CM partners. This includes demand vs capacity outlook and driving the agenda for future fit capacity & capability.
  • Translate business strategy into manufacturing and supply chain initiatives. This includes evaluating make-versus-buy decisions and network design opportunities.
  • Generate F4G savings initiatives from supply chain network optimization.
  • Prepare resiliency plan for B&W Indonesia product portfolios.

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related disciplines
  • Experience leading strategic transformation and business improvement initiatives
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Strategic Planning, or Operations Excellence
  • Minimum 5 years people leadership experience
