JALA is looking for Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the reconstruction of mangrove hydrology and IPAL systems, leading consultant coordination for mangrove monitoring, carbon emission forecasting, biodiversity hotspot identification, and global research market evaluation, managing the Waste Management project, and ensuring CSSF Farm achieves 90% ASC standard compliance, while reporting progress weekly to the Head of ESG.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Control the progress of reconstruction for Mangrove hydrology & IPAL reconstruction
- Coordinate with Site inspector weekly and report the project to Head of ESG for Mangrove hydrology & IPAL reconstruction
- Lead and coordinate with consultant for Mangrove Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Lead and coordinate with consultant for monitoring and evaluation for Continuing carbon emission forecasting of CSSF
- Lead and coordinate with consultant for monitoring and evaluation for Identified biodiversity hotspot
- Lead and execute the Waste Management project
- Lead and Responsible for CSSF Farm to comply 90% with ASC standard by the end of the project.
- Lead and coordinate with consultants for monitoring and evaluation for Global Research Market
Skills & Capabilities
- Project Management Expertise: min. 5 to 7 years of experience as a community
- development manager (or relevant job) in an NGO or private sector.
- Education background in anthropology, marine or aquaculture.
- Has a portfolio of creating social or biodiversity conservation program to improve coastal communities.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- A team player with good communication skills with the coastal or aquaculture
- community (experienced working in Central Sulawesi or South Sulawesi, is preferred).
- Has experience with biodiversity conservation and circular economy.
- Demonstrated access to or established networks with NGO or consultants related to the project.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel during the project period.
