Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at Tetra Coffee & Eatery in Surakarta. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages, following Tetra's quality and presentation standards. Daily tasks include greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized bar and dining area. The Barista will support basic food preparation, coordinate with kitchen staff, and ensure orders are prepared accurately and promptly. The role also involves restocking supplies, caring for coffee equipment, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational barista skills, including basic espresso preparation, drink assembly, and familiarity with coffee equipment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and attentive approach to guests.
• Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with guests and collaborating with team members.
• Basic food preparation skills and an understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple orders at once.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and continuous learning.
• Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training can be provided.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
